Reflection #2 Changes in Christianity by the Time of the Council of Nicea, AD 325
There were a lot of things that had happened in the time of the Council of Nicea at AD 325. One thing I've learned is that there were persecution provoked struggles or conflicts among Christian leaders and those conflicts also produced by false belief. For example the Montanists we found the struggles in the church resulted in the false belief that sin could be classified as "mortal" and "venial." That belief continues in the Roman Catholic Church. The second thing I've learned is that there were influence of other religious and cultures. As rapid growth continued to bring baptized unbelievers into church membership, false belief and practices became more common. That false belief are the magical power seen in the Lord's Supper and in baptism illustrate wrong belief.
Right before false belief are already existed. This two ordinances was being misunderstand by the time of Council of Nicea. There conflicts and persecution that happened. But the Council of Nicea brings changes when the Nicene Creed were being recognized which is
I believe in one God,
of all things visible and invisible.the Only Begotten Son of God,born of the Father before all ages.God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvationhe came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third dayin accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heavenand is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in gloryto judge the living and the deadand his kingdom will have no end.who proceeds from the Father and the Son,who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sinsand I look forward to the resurrection of the deadand the life of the world to come. Amen.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
How to make it in positive? First is familiar a doctrine or stand of your faith. Conflicts should be reconciled in a gentle way. The members should know the statement of faith of the church.
